Quotes, Prices and Subject Matter

Any price quote given via an enquiry are valid for 60 days from the date a full price quotation is sent.  Prices cover material costs, work undertaken, complexity of the piece, packaging supplies and time spent communicating with a customer.

Please contact me if you wish to discuss the subject matter of any project you have in mind. Please see my portfolio of past works in order to see if I am a suitable artist for your needs. I have a certain style, and comfort zone, and as such subjects such as humans, vehicles etc will be rejected upon first enquiry.

I reserve the right to refuse any project, for any reason.

Payment must be made in full before postage.  I accept payment via Paypal only.  Instalments are accepted, at a maximum of 3, including the initial non-refundable deposit.

Prices for custom work listed on the website are not inclusive of postage and packaging. This charge will either be added to the initial invoice, or billed upon completion. Costs will be dependant upon the destination of the item(s), the weight of the item(s) and the value of the item(s).

Where appropriate, shipping will be sent with tracking and insurance. This additional cost will be covered by Philosophyfox Crafts as the seller and party responsible for the safe arrival of the item(s).

Deposits and Refunds

A deposit of 25% is to be paid before all orders are started.  This deposit is non-refundable in the case that a customer changes their mind or does not meet all final payments.  The deposit will be refunded in the event that I have to cancel the commission due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances.

Progress and Updates

The customer will be updated at regular intervals during the commission process.  Once the project specifications have been agreed, including the customer viewing the sketches and plans for the project, work will start.  Updates will be sent during the initial sculpting process, just before firing/painting and during painting. Reasonable requests for changes will be considered, although these will not always be practical or achievable. Major changes to a project will incur a further charge, the costs of which are dependant on the work and changes requested. If a sculpture cannot be altered in a manner to satisfy the customer’s requests, the option to start again may be offered.  I reserve the right to charge extra should the abandoned project be unsuitable for resale.  I also reserve the right to alter, sell, or otherwise use the abandoned project in any way that I, as the artist and author of the works, see fit.

Commercial Use

All work ordered is for personal use only, unless a prior commercial agreement is made in writing.  Images and photos, both the customers and my own are not to be used for commercial or profit reasons, including fundraising for charities and non-profit organisations without my prior agreement.

All work is copyright Lisa Marsden of Philosophyfox Crafts.  Please do not duplicate, alter or misrepresent my work as belonging to anyone else. I reserve the right to use images of the project in my online portfolios, for prints and other, similar work.
